Many many thanks to the staff and teachers at Summerfield. As Nana and Poppa we have enjoyed nothing more than the days that we were privileged enough to bring young George to your centre. He has absolutely blossomed and thrived under your guidance and tutelage. We will miss seeing you all on our alloted mornings and thank you again for the professionalism and the dedication that each and every one of you show daily, and that we have had the pleasure and privilege to witness over the past 4 and a bit years. There is a reason I continued to take my twins to Summerfield after moving to Orewa (and sitting in traffic for close to two years); they care. The supporting team and teachers became our village and watched not only my 1 year olds blossom into giant 4 year olds, they helped us grow as parents too. The communication, the collaboration and the willingness to take on extra support and feedback for my son far exceeded expectations. We struggled to find another comparable daycare closer to home for a long time, given Summerfield's vast real -grassed backyard and separate spaces for ages and stages (and the whole teams emotional investment in the children). You won't regret having your child attend Summerfield, I already miss taking mine there!

Our family has had the absolute pleasure of being part of the Summerfield community, and we cannot recommend this daycare highly enough. From the very first day, the team made us feel supported, heard, and reassured—turning what could have been a stressful transition into a joyful experience. The Pipi Room team created such a warm and nurturing environment for our daughter. She has loved every moment, running up the ramp each morning with a big smile on her face. The staff’s thoughtful approach to her development—from guiding us through small changes like teat sizes to supporting her milestones—has been invaluable. A special shout-out goes to Anna and Latecia, whose warmth, attentiveness, and dedication have been extraordinary. They consistently go above and beyond, and knowing our daughter was in their care has meant the world to us. Honestly, her next teachers have some very big shoes to fill! Behind the scenes, Angela and Louise have done an amazing job organizing fun events like crazy hair days, arts and crafts, and bikeathons—making Summerfield feel like a true family. If you’re looking for a daycare that combines professionalism, genuine care, and a joyful environment, Summerfield is the place. We will miss everyone dearly and feel so grateful that our daughters first daycare experience was here.
