The Village Early Learning Centre

The Village Day Care has truly been one of the best parts of our daughter’s early years. She started attending when she was just 9 months old, and the transition was unbelievably smooth — something every parent hopes for. Sahana and Tif are amazing at the transition in the babies room. Now at 3 years old and in the preschool room, we can see such amazing growth in her. The teachers have encouraged her to become more independent, to play confidently in a team, and to explore and learn through the incredible activities they plan. It’s beautiful to see how they celebrate all festivals and cultures, creating such an inclusive and joyful environment for the children. We feel so grateful knowing she’s growing up with that kind of exposure and respect for diversity. Her development has been supported in every way — socially, emotionally, and academically. The teachers are truly wonderful, warm, and dedicated. You can tell they genuinely care about each child. And we can’t forget the in‑house cook! The kids absolutely look forward to lunchtime, and it’s such a comfort knowing they’re getting nutritious, freshly prepared meals every day. We couldn’t be happier with The Village Day Care. It’s a place filled with love, learning, and laughter, and we’re so thankful our daughter gets to be part of it.

My daughter started at The Village Learning Centre when she was just 7 months old, barely crawling. As a first-time mum needing to return to full-time work after maternity leave, I visited several daycares in West AKL, and when I stepped into The Village I felt that I found the environment that I was searching for my baby and my family - safe, warm and supportive. Now, three years later, that little baby is a happy, healthy, and confident preschooler. All teachers, admin staff and chef are so kind, friendly, dedicated, and they truly show how much they care about the tamariki. For me, The Village is an outstanding example of early childhood education, and I’m forever grateful to them for being such a wonderful part of my daughter’s early years. ❤️
