Biggles Childcare

Biggles was such an amazing place for son to attend to prepare him for primary school. Biggles created a safe place to explore, play and learn. The centre is in a renovated house on a side street just around the corner from Glen Eden Primary School. Because it is not a commercial building it has a more homely appeal and even has an outdoor playground with grass and feijoa trees, combined with AMAZING teaching staff and of course the favorite staff member, chef Gaynor! But Thank You to the teachers at the Bear House you ladies always went above and beyond ensuring regular inclusive and fun celebrations. Everyone from teaching staff to management were always welcoming and the kids were always genuinely cared for. Also appreciate the two folders of Destry's journey we were gifted at his graduation. Fakaaue lahi mahaki :)

If I could give Biggles 100 stars, I absolutely would. They weren’t just a daycare, they were a second home to our son. I often referred to one of his teachers as his “daytime mum,” and that’s exactly what she was, along with all the others. The love, care, and genuine attention they gave him was something truly special. A huge thank you to Kita, Nikki (Nini), Xanthe, Beth, Rhea, Laura, Gaynor, and Lisa, you all treated our boy like one of your own, and for that we are forever grateful. We’ve recently moved away, and in searching for a new daycare, it’s become even more clear just how unique and exceptional Biggles is. It’s a rare gem, and one that will be impossible to top.

My daughter absolutely loves this daycare, all the staff are so caring and kind towards our little ones and us as parents, when I take my daughter to Biggles for the day, I leave knowing you she’ll be safe and happy which gives me peace of mind. The owners of Biggles Marco & Lisa are such lovely people and can always work around your needs. There are many activities they do everyday and heaps of messy play! If you are looking for a childcare in the area I would highly recommend Biggles without hesitation ⭐️
