Summerland Kindergarten

Highly recommend Summerland Kindergarten. The teachers are incredible and they have the place running seamlessly. My children have both attended the kindy and settled in so well due to the caring and welcome environment. Fabulous learning and community involvement/ events! Can’t sing their praises any more!

From the very first visit, I knew this kindergarten was the right choice for my daughter. The spacious indoor and outdoor areas, playgrounds, and gardens provide a wonderful environment for children to play and explore. After a year here, now at graduation, I have never once regretted our decision—every moment has been positive and satisfying. The teachers are attentive, warm, and caring, and the friendly atmosphere among the children has helped my child grow significantly in confidence and English skills over just one year. This kindergarten has nurtured not only the children’s physical development but also their emotional growth. I am truly grateful for the experience, and I highly recommend Summerland Kindergarten.

I looked at so many kindergartens all over Auckland (including some very fancy private ones, and some others belonging to the Auckland Kindergarten Association) for my son, but the minute we visited Summerland, I knew it was the right one for us. The teachers and other staff at Summerland kindy are all incredibly welcoming, open and so supportive of each child’s individual development. The kindergarten has a real sense of community amongst not only the teachers and children, but also the wider families. Parents, grandparents and extended family are all welcomed, and there is a real ethos of sharing and warmth about the way the kindy functions. I especially like the emphasis on multiculturalism, kindness and empathy that is fostered here. My son has absolutely blossomed from a shy child into one who now has so many friends and is so confident as he approaches the transition to primary school. I would recommend Summerland kindy without reservation to anyone who asked. I genuinely believe it is the best Kindergarten in Auckland.
