Busy Minds Early Learning Centre

Choosing Busy Minds has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our son. As a former ECE teacher myself, I had a strong feeling from the very first visit that this was the right place for him. You can really feel the positive vibe of the centre and the teachers’ passion as soon as you walk in. My son joined when he was one of the youngest in the room, and it’s been amazing to see how much he has grown in such a nurturing environment. Busy Minds has the most stable and warm team. Children are surrounded by familiar teachers each day, which creates a strong sense of security and belonging. The ratios are excellent, and the teachers are genuinely attentive to each child’s individual needs. It has a supportive environment where children are encouraged to take responsibility for their surroundings, while also building important school readiness skills. The meals are always yummy and nutritious. My son has never come home hungry! We also love the beautiful outdoor space, which has helped my son develop confidence in his gross motor skills and express his energy freely. We’ll truly miss the friends, the teachers, and of course the yummy meals at Busy Minds!

If you are looking for a home away from home for your child, Busy Minds is for you. The teachers are absolutely incredible and get to know every child at the centre incredibly well, accommodating to their every need. It honestly felt like leaving my son in the care of a wonderful aunt. The food is amazing compliments of chef Tammy who makes hearty but healthy meals. Another great thing about the centre is their huge back yard with swings, obstacles courses, bikes, worm farms,, mud kitchen, hideout, massive sandpit and it goes on and on. There was never a day my son was bored with all the activities, bubbles, music and the like. There are wonderful annual family events and the whole atmosphere shouts welcome in, warmth, care and everything a parent needs to feel safe and secure.

We have been with many early childcare centers in Auckland over the last decade due to our children's age gap, and Busy Minds outshine them all. Teachers play such a crucial role in those early years and the ones at Busy Minds are the representation of true educators. The level of passion and care they give each child including our own is just superb. We have the same teachers throughout the years we were there and that's a key assurance to our little boy who's very resistant to changes. Couldn't speak highly enough for Kate and her crew at Busy Mind!
