Our son just loves and thrives in TLS! The care, support and attention he receives every day has been exceptional. We feel all his carers are so loving, kind and patient with him and have really gotten to know his personality and all the different things he enjoys and how best he learns. We love the calm atmosphere with morning tea, calming music, gentle interactions and never feel he is hurried allowing him to settle into his day at his own pace and learn in a safe environment.
Our 2 kids loved TLS and really thrived under the care of such wonderful teachers. I knew nothing about childcare philosophy at the start of our daycare journey but am really grateful we stumbled upon a centre guided by Pikler/Gerber philosophy - we learnt so much as parents by seeing how the teachers interacted with and spoke to our children, kindly, respectfully and encouraging their autonomy while still ensuring boundaries. The teachers have been consistently excellent, always calm and kind, and obviously genuinely enjoying spending time with the children and sharing their stories with us at the end of the day at pickup. Highly recommend, thanks TLS team for being such a wonderful part of all our lives for the last 6 years! 😊
Our experience with this centre was very disappointing. We were suddenly told our toddler’s enrolment would be ended, with no warning, no support plan, and very little effort to work with us. The centre suggested that daycare was too overwhelming for our child and recommended moving to home-based care instead of offering meaningful support. Communication felt poor, and behaviour concerns didn’t seem to be handled consistently across children. We moved to home-based care out of urgency, but it didn’t meet our child’s needs. We later decided to transfer back to a daycare setting, and we couldn’t be happier with how well our child is now doing. The support and communication we are receiving have made a world of difference, and our child is finally thriving in an environment that understands and supports him.
