Smart Start Montessori (Grange Rd) Pre-School

We are so grateful for the wonderful experience our daughter, Martina, has had at SmartStart. From her very first days to her final year, SmartStart has been a place where she felt supported, encouraged, and cared for as she learned and grew. Martina has always been a spirited and energetic child, and we thank God for the patience, wisdom, and care her teachers showed in guiding and encouraging her throughout her time at SmartStart. We are especially grateful to all the teachers (Sophie, Sarah, Mei, and Anne) for the kindness, dedication, and genuine care they showed Martina every day. Their encouragement and positive influence helped her grow in confidence, independence, and a love for learning. One thing we especially appreciated was the peace of mind we had knowing Martina was always in caring and capable hands. As parents, there is nothing more reassuring than knowing your child is safe, supported, and well cared for, and SmartStart consistently gave us that confidence. A special thank you to Rebecca, whose leadership has created such a warm, welcoming, and family-oriented environment. The kindness, professionalism, and genuine care shown by the team reflect the wonderful culture she has built at SmartStart. Thank you, SmartStart, for the care, guidance, and support you have given Martina throughout these precious early years. The confidence she has gained, the friendships she has made, and the memories she will carry with her are a testament to the positive environment you have created. As Martina begins a new chapter in primary school, we will truly miss all of you. Our daughter went here and it was great for her. It set her up for school, she just slotted in straight away without any issues. They’re big on independence and routine, which you really notice later on. She was already used to listening, focusing and getting on with things. Teachers were great to deal with and you could tell they actually cared. Absolutely brilliant.

Smart Start is THE BEST childcare and Montessori we could have hoped for — we highly recommend it. Our daughter spent over two years (age 3-5) here and graduated last week, and saying goodbye was emotional for all the right reasons. Smart Start has truly been the best place outside our home that she could have been looked after. One of the best decisions we’ve made for our child! The teachers genuinely honour the Montessori philosophy, nurturing each child as an individual and encouraging independence, confidence, and a love of learning at their own pace. The environment is calm, respectful, and thoughtfully prepared, allowing children to feel safe, capable, and curious every day. Our daughter grew so much during her time here — socially, emotionally, and academically — and she leaves with beautiful memories and strong foundations.
