The Montessori Preschool - Mt Albert

The kaiako here are very warm and nurturing, and the environment is inclusive, and caters to the individual needs of the tamariki. Our daughter settled in easily and developed a sense of belonging very quickly. A wonderful ECE that we will miss very much!

The Montessori Preschool Mt Albert has been the best place for my daughter. She has made some great friends and learned so much while attending since its opened. The owners Grace and Renata are experienced teachers, very welcoming and caring of all the kids. Also all staff are amazing and really want to help the kids be the best they can be and instil good values. We checked out 10+ other daycares before viewing this one and it was leaps and bounds ahead of others. If you are looking around for a special place for your child that has good teacher/child ratios I would recommend contacting them to make a time to visit.

The Montessori Preschool is a really exceptional ECE. The owners and teachers are wonderful people, so warm and caring and interested in fostering the individual development of all the children in their care. It has a lovely, homely vibe and the resources are all so well cared for and thoughtfully displayed. They let the children lead the play but also provide cool opportunities for the children to extend their interests. Our three year old has been there for nearly 8 months and she has gone from being sad at drop off to telling me to go so she can get on with the fun without me! We needed a lot of help with our transition into childcare and the staff were all so wonderful and kind and patient, going at my daughter’s pace and keeping us in the loop at all times. Waiting for our second daughter’s birthday to send her when she turns two as well! Thank you Grace, Renata and Luisa for opening and running such a great space in our neighbourhood - I can’t recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for childcare in this area
