My daughter absolutely loves Blooming Buds !! She has been there since Feb this year and the team have been really caring and diligent (and patient !) with her as she has transitioned into daycare life as well as the recent transition from the under 2 room to the toddler room ! Our daughter comes home and talks about all the fantastic things she has done throughout the day, loves the nutritious meals and we love she can just be herself and get messy and have fun in a really safe, happy environment. We love how all cultures are embraced ! All the staff and teachers have been wonderful to engage with and you can tell they take great pride in bringing up our Tamariki, our daughter is flourishing as a result 🥰
Beautiful centre and beautiful educators. My son has been with the Blooming Buds New Lynn whānau since they opened their doors, and it’s been such a special part of our journey. He absolutely loves it, has built heartwarming relationships with his teachers and friends, and has grown so much in confidence. Always a warming and welcoming environment to walk into each morning. We couldn’t be happier sharing our son’s journey with our Blooming Buds whānau .
We visited this daycare for transition. My child attended only 2 days, 1 hour each day, and she was with her nani (grandmother) during this time. On the second day, the staff asked my nani to go upstairs and said they would take care of her. However, within 5 minutes, when my nani checked on her, my child was crying a lot, and no one was comforting her. The teachers were busy doing their own work and did not respond to her distress. One new teacher, Farida, promised to look after her, but once my nani left, that promise was not kept. This experience was very disappointing and concerning for us as parents. I strongly suggest the owner hire experienced teachers, properly check references, and ensure staff genuinely care for children, especially during the transition period when kids are most vulnerable.
