A lovely church service at the marae this afternoon Sunday 22nd June 2025 conducted by the local Otara Māori Anglican parish, the Church of the Epiphany Whakaaturanga. Although the wharenui was quite cold to begin with not surprising as we are in winter there was a warmth of spirit of fellowship and worship. Thank you to Chris Pōmare from the marae for his welcome to us in accordance with tikanga Māori. Look forward to doing this again.
The haukainga are always welcoming guests into our hood. They also put on awesome activations for the community. Can't wait for the new build. Thank you, Ngati Otara Marae
Busy building the new Sports centre, do not think you guys deserve it with the amount of break ins and gear being stolen by the public. Really bad attitude to have guys, i take a lot of pride doing my work as a tradesman, cannot do my work if you keep stealing my bloody tools!
