I absolutely love Koru Montessori, and I highly recommend for anyone looking at Montessori on the North Shore. My daughter has truly thrived here, and it has felt like a second home to her. The teachers are very knowledgeable, attentive, and care for the children like their own. The school has also instilled Montessori values into my child, and my child was very prepared by the time she entered primary school. My son will also be attending here by the time his is old enough ☺️
Our son attended Koru Montessori for three years, and choosing to let him complete his first Montessori cycle there—staying until age six—was truly the best decision we made for him. Throughout his time at Koru, we watched him blossom into a confident, curious, and capable child, both at school and at home. The teachers played a huge role not only in his development but also in helping us understand our son better. They guided us on how to support him at home, how to embrace his uniqueness, and how to help him grow into a kind and considerate person—towards others and the environment. He has become so knowledgeable, independent, and enthusiastic about learning. His love for exploration continues to grow because of the rich Montessori environment and the thoughtful guidance from his teachers. We are constantly amazed by how much he knows and how confidently he applies that knowledge. We absolutely love the teachers. They are dedicated, nurturing, and genuinely invested in each and every child. We couldn’t be more grateful to have found Koru Montessori. We support Montessori philosophy and we will be continuing our son's learning journey in Montessori, all thanks to the teacher for educating us.
My daughter joined Koru just after she turned two, and she spent three happy, fulfilling years there. The teachers truly put Montessori’s educational philosophy into practice. Over those three years, she’s grown into a child who knows how to take care of herself and share love with the people around her. The teachers also laid a strong foundation for her reading and maths, and she genuinely loves learning and reading. We feel incredibly lucky that our daughter had the opportunity to be part of Koru and to learn from such a wonderful team of teachers.
