Our family moved to NZ and wanted a change from the mainstream education that our kids had grown up in. Our oldest daughter was starting to become anxious about the ultra competitive pressures that schooling brought on in the UK. Her transition to Steiner was seamless and she is now a much happier kid in all aspects of her life. Her 4 siblings have also thrived and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The school does come with some shortfalls such as the lack of facilities and grandiose buildings, but the trade off is an education that I feel will turn my kids into well balanced and functional members of society. It also helps being in a school where technology is shunned, making it easier to keep my kids off devices and especially social media, which has always worried me.

My 8 year old daughter is absolutely loving school. Thank you for the caring environment you provide for our children. The grounds are beautiful and children get to be themselves.

We enrolled our kids into the school 3 years ago and we are so happy about that decision. They love to learn in a playful way. I appreciate that they do a lot of creative activities using their hands (not tablets). They are surrounded by nature and kind loving approach of all the teachers. The school has such a lovely community.
