Whangaparaoa Kindergarten

We have loved this Kindy, our boy moved here when we moved to the Coast and had a seamless transition with very kind, attentive and encouraging teachers who quickly understood who he was and what he needed. The space is so cool with a beautiful, sunny and very big outdoor area to keep him busy as well as all the arts and crafts, construction and reading supplies he could dream of. It was also amazing having lots of other kids his age and stage to meet and learn from, and to transition to school together. There is a great relationship between this kindy and the school next door and it was so special being over the fence from school so being able to see his friends go one by one and then visit at the gate when it was his turn - the familiarity and support was so helpful with this big step. We love being part of this kindy community, we met lots of nice families there and are looking forward to sending our little guy there too one day.

Whangaparaoa Kindy is amazing! All the teachers are so supportive and caring. My child has absolutely thrived there and has so much fun every day. I just wish I knew about it sooner and I could have had my eldest child there. Thank you for providing such a great environment, we are going to miss kindy so much when we go off to school soon! But will treasure all the fun memories, from the day to day, kindy trips, celebrating Mother’s Day there, artwork, playground fun, fishing competitions and everything, such a lovely community to be a part of.

We highly recommend Whangaparaoa Kindergarten. The teachers are warm, nurturing, and truly care about each child. We’ve been lucky to send our children here, The kindergarten offers a great transition into Whangaparaoa School, and the environment is fantastic—with a beautiful, spacious play area and a strong sense of community amongst the families. We’re very grateful for the wonderful teachers and families who make this such a special place.
