As our son Wiremu finishes his journey at kindy and begins his next adventure at kura, it is hard to put into words just how grateful we are for the incredible three years he has spent with this amazing team. From the very beginning, Wiremu and us all was welcomed with genuine warmth, kindness, and aroha. The teachers created an environment that truly felt like an extension of our whānau—a place where he felt safe, valued, encouraged, and loved every single day. The strong whānau values that are at the heart of this kindy shine through in everything they do, and we feel incredibly blessed to have been part of such a special community. Over the past three years, we have watched Wiremu grow into a confident, caring, curious, and capable young boy. The experiences, learning opportunities, friendships, and life skills he has gained have been invaluable. The dedication, patience, and genuine care shown by the Whaea's have played a huge role in shaping the wonderful little person he is today. Every afternoon, Wiremu would come home bursting with excitement, eager to tell us stories about his day, the adventures he had been on, the things he had learned, and the special moments he had shared with his whaeas and friends. Seeing him so happy and excited to attend each day gave us complete confidence that he was exactly where he needed to be. What stands out most is the aroha. The whaeas don't just teach the children—they truly know them, care for them, celebrate their achievements, support them through challenges, even the littlest of ones like pronouncing a word or writing a W. That is something that cannot be measured, but it is something our Whānau will never forget. As parents, there is no greater gift than knowing your child is cared for, nurtured, and loved while they are away from home. This kindy has given us that gift every day for the past three years. Wiremu still talks about his whaeas, his friends, and his adventures, and already misses being there. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything you have done for our boy and for our whānau. The memories, lessons, confidence, and aroha you have given Wiremu will stay with him forever. We will always be grateful for the role you have played in his early years and feel incredibly fortunate to have shared this journey with you.
Leaving your whole world in the arms of strangers isn’t an easy decision, but at Learning Adventures it doesn’t feel like strangers at all. From the moment I walked in, I felt an instant sense of relief. We looked at a few different childcare centres, but none of them compared to the warm, welcoming feeling here. The teaching team in the under-two room are amazing, and you can genuinely tell how much they care for every child in their care. Judy-Ann, the manager, has made me — as an anxious mum — feel truly heard, supported, and understood. Kat in admin has also gone above and beyond to help us, which has meant so much. Overall, the sense of belonging, warmth, and love here is everything you could hope for and more. We feel so grateful to be part of the Learning Adventures whānau.
The kaiako in Learning Adventures are the best. They helped my little girl transition well. They also provide good resources and activities.very grateful for the care and support they provide.
