My son loves the calm environment, the friendly and attentive teachers and the amazing food. I feel at ease and comfortable when I drop my son off each day knowing he is getting the care and attention and love that he needs, I have had to change my hours for him quite a few times as my shifts change and they have always been so accommodating, the environment is clean and they are always communicating and updating parents with what is coming up or what the kids have been up to

My daughter has attended Pumanawa Papa Hou ELC since the beginning of January and I could not speak more highly of this centre! She took a few weeks to settle in and the staff could not have been more patient and caring throughout the whole process. They made sure my daughter and I felt comfortable as we eased her into her Preschool journey. In the space of 4 months, the skills and milestones my daughter has accomplished is beyond what I could have imagined. The teachers are so attentive and make sure to keep me updated along the way. I work different hours each week and they have been beyond accommodating with any hour changes that have been needed which makes life a lot more stress free!

I strongly advise parents to avoid The Kind Foundation Papa Hou. This preschool is dysfunctional and poorly managed, and the environment is visibly unhygienic. The glass throughout the center is constantly covered in handprints, and it’s clear that no detailed cleaning is being done. More importantly, the teachers show strong favoritism. If your child isn't "popular," they are left unattended and ignored. Since attending, my child has become terrified of nappy changes, which is a massive red flag. There is no encouragement for children to join activities; if they don't want to participate, they are just left alone. When I tried to discuss my child’s hours, I was met with extreme disrespect. I was told, “We are too busy, it’s not that you can change your hours whenever you want.” This school only cares about numbers, not the children nor parents. I do not feel my child is safe, loved, or even in a clean environment here.
