Highfield Haven ELC

My daughter Eden started at Highfield Haven when she was two years old. She was very shy, struggled with eating, and I was so worried about leaving my little girl. The team made that transition so much easier by keeping me updated, sharing photos through the app, and always letting me know if she wasn’t feeling well. It helped me feel connected to her day, and if I was ever worried and wanted to check in, they were always kind, understanding, and happy to reassure me without ever making me feel like I was being overprotective. The growth I’ve seen in Eden has been incredible. She has become so much more confident, her speech has improved so much, she’s more adventurous with food, and she genuinely gets excited to go to daycare and then rushes home to tell me everything she did. What I love most is how well the teachers know every child as an individual. They notice their interests, encourage what they love, know their likes and dislikes, celebrate who they are, and always have stories to share at pick-up. Every morning they greet Eden with so much excitement that she knows she’s loved before she even walks through the door. As a working mum, I also really appreciate that they’re open until 6 pm. It has made balancing work and family life so much easier. Watching Eden grow into such a confident, happy little girl has been so special, and I’m incredibly grateful that she’s had teachers who have loved, encouraged, and cared for her every step of the way.

My wee boy has just started at Highfield Haven and the teachers have been very accommodating with him. They are very patient and understanding especially that he is still on his settling phase. Their classrooms have lots of various activities that the tamariki can learn with. Highly recommended! 🌟👍
