Busy Bees Aoraki

We have been apart of Busy Bees Aoraki for 4 years, and another 4 years to go. Our eldest has just turned 5. He has been well equipped with the skills needed to transition to school, he has been challenged with his imagination and been able to evolve an idea into a creation. His teachers have given him the opportunity to see ideas can become real by problem solving and putting in the effort. Our middle child is her own person, she will do as she wants, when she wants. The staff know her well, know how to distract her, what she likes and is able to calm her while providing a nurturing environment. Our youngest is in the nursery. She has the opportunity to do so many activities, even at 10months old. They promote an environment where she can practice and perfect her new skills she has learnt. I couldn’t be happier to have a space where my children can go to have fun, be challenged and be supported by their teachers to grow into the people they are meant to be. Busy Bees Aoraki is an awesome centre and is an extended part of our whānau 🙂

Our two boys are happy and thriving at Busy Bees Aoraki. The teachers nurture kindness and confidence, and they’ve created an environment where friendships can really grow. They feel more like friends to us than just teachers, always welcoming us with a warm smile, engaging with us in lively conversation, and showing genuine care for our whole family. It’s reassuring to know both of our boys are listened to, cared for, and forming beautiful friendships in such a supportive environment. We are grateful to be part of the Busy Bees community.

Busy Bees Timaru has been an amazing experience for our family. The educators are kind, patient, and genuinely care about each child’s wellbeing and development. From the moment we walk in, we’re greeted with friendly faces and a welcoming environment that feels safe and nurturing. Communication is excellent — we’re always kept informed about our child’s day, learning, and progress. The activities are engaging and well thought out, supporting both learning and social development. It’s clear the team is passionate about what they do, and it gives us real peace of mind knowing our child is so well cared for. We’re incredibly grateful for the support and dedication of the Busy Bees Timaru team and would highly recommend them to any family.
