They made his learning journey fun and meaningful, and we always felt supported as parents too. My wife, Mary, and I found ourselves back in Christchurch under difficult circumstances. Amidst the challenges, we needed a nurturing and supportive environment for our wee boy, Charlie. From our very first visit, the team at Alpha Preschool welcomed us with open arms. One teacher in particular, Charlotte, made an immediate and lasting impression on Charlie, perhaps because they shared the same name! Every morning, Charlotte would go out of her way to help settle Charlie, and this gave us such peace of mind knowing that he was in safe, loving hands. Over the 11 months we were at Alpha, Charlie was given an environment to grow and thrive, he made wonderful friends, which he still talks fondly about. The caring and dedicated staff had such a positive impact on his life during what was a challenging time for our family. To Chris & Maria and everyone at Alpha, thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of my family’s journey. A really rare and wonderful preschool centre. Our daughter started at 9 months, and she was wrapped up in so much support and care during her 4 years there. The staff have stayed consistent through her time which provided so much structure and familiarity. All the staff genuinely care about the children and their development and the community that surrounds the centre is diverse and authentic. The centre is well run, clean and engaging and the owners are hands on and attentive to the overall needs of the parents. We could not be more happy with our choice to choose Alpha over the out-of-a-box childcare centres that pop up everywhere.
