Little Ferns Early Learning Centre

We have been part of Little Ferns just over a year.. My son just turned 3and he is so happy and self sufficient and can even see the good habits at home... We started our journey at a different daycare in 2024 but it was hard to leave him and when he was difficult they weren't very helpful. Since we moved to Little Ferns the house has been happier. Every teacher and reliever is so friendly, caring and helpful. Everyone works together from the office to the kitchen and every team member. We are very happy and my son is very happy and so independent now. Definitely saw a big difference since we moved to them. Highly recommend this Centre to any family..

My four-year-old has been attending for over a year and a half and is very settled and happy there. We’re really fond of the kaiako and the friendships she’s made with the other children. The transition from the Pikopiko room to the Ponga room was made much easier by the shared outdoor space. It meant my daughter could still see and play with familiar faces, which helped her feel comfortable moving into the bigger room. The kaiako in the Ponga room are fantastic, with very little turnover. You can see that they communicate well with each other and work as a team. I’ve been happy enough with our experience to pre-book our 5 month old into the nursery for an August start. The practical side is great too, nappies nd wipes are supplied, and all meals are cooked on site by Jess, the chef, which makes my life very easy.. In my opinion the centre is well run, welcoming support staff and management, with clear communication and thoughtful events that help families feel included.

We love our preschool Little Ferns! It’s welcoming, warm, friendly, loving, fun, nurturing and engaging! We had our son attend not long after the centre opened and I’m so glad we chose Little Ferns. Our son has learnt so much from the teachers here and has made some lifelong friends. We loved the nursery and the safe environment. It was reassuring for this first time mum to leave her son (when returning to work) in such great care with the AMAZING teachers. We are now in the Pikopiko room and our son is thriving and the teachers are also his “best friends” in here too. The Kai is amazing in both taste and variety. My son eats like a king and I feel so content that my daughter will also get to experience all the wonderful things that make Little Ferns the best preschool for our Tamariki.
