My son went here from 2-3.5 years old, leaving only due to moving across town. The caring teachers supported following my approach during different behavioural stages, giving my child consistency across home and preschool and helping us get through the different toddler stages (including potty training!) One of the most affordable fees I could find in all of CHCH, at no cost to the quality of childcare. Frre play based, with different activities set up each morning, making drop offs a breeze due to new exciting activities most days. No food provided, but they still took care to ensure his lactose intolerance was respected. We are sad to move on, definitely would have stayed until primary school if we could! He's made many friends and learnt valuable skills. Thank you all for supporting my son to grow!

Really awesome to see the positive impact Little Cubs Early Learning Centre is having in the Christchurch community. From everything I’ve seen and heard, the centre has built a great reputation for being caring, welcoming, and focused on providing high-quality early childhood education. The staff seem genuinely passionate about creating a safe and supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and build confidence. It’s clear a lot of effort goes into making the centre feel warm, engaging, and family-oriented. You always hear good things about Little Cubs, especially around their friendly teachers, strong communication, and positive learning environment. It’s great to see a childcare and early learning centre in Christchurch that people speak so highly of.

I honestly love this place. The relationships with the tamariki, whānau, and kaiako are amazing. Everyone gets along and wants the best for the tamariki in the center. Kaiako want nothing but to support the tamariki in being capable, confident learners for when they go to school. It's a small center, which means there's one-on-one time with your child, so you know they are really looked after. Don't believe me? Read this photo to see why your child will feel safe here.
