We cannot recommend this daycare enough! It has been such an amazing place for both of our kids, and the love, warmth, and dedication from all the teachers is truly unmatched. The teachers are incredibly supportive, caring, and genuinely invested in every child’s growth and development. They spend one-on-one time with the children, work closely with parents on goals and interests, and create meaningful learning experiences through conversations, play, and activities that help prepare kids for life. Our daughter is bilingual, and we absolutely love how the teachers encourage and support her in speaking both languages. Her confidence and fluency have grown so much since attending here. Our son previously would not eat anything except milk, but the teachers patiently worked with him, encouraged him to try new foods, and supported him every step of the way. We are beyond grateful for their dedication and care. The amount of effort they put into celebrating festivals, creating engaging activities, and making every child feel loved and valued is unbelievable. Even though we live in Rolleston, we chose this daycare because of the warmth and genuine care we felt from the very beginning. Thank you to all the amazing teachers for everything you do. You truly make a difference in children’s lives every single day.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at BestStart West Melton! From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt the warmth and care that makes this center feel like a true home away from home. The teachers are absolutely incredible full of energy, imagination, and genuine love for what they do. They take the time to truly get to know each child their likes, dislikes, and unique personalities and use that knowledge to create a fun, special space where every child feels comfortable, included, and excited to learn. The settling-in process is handled with so much patience and care, making the transition smooth and positive for both kids and parents. It's clear they truly care about each child’s growth and happiness. Our baby is always excited when we get there and our toddler looks forward to going and asks every day if it is a preschool day, which speaks volumes! A huge shout-out to the amazing Centre Manager, Hetty and Centre Administrator, Rosie, who go above and beyond for every family. Their dedication, communication, and heartfelt care create a strong sense of community and trust. You really feel like part of a big, supportive family. The transition to school program and before and after school care will also be really handy once our oldest starts school. We are so grateful to have found a place where our kids are not only learning and growing, but are also loved and valued. Thank you for creating such a special space!

I highly recommend this daycare — 10/10! The teachers are absolutely amazing, caring, and supportive. My daughter has developed a strong bond with them, which gives me great peace of mind as a parent. I’ve seen incredible progress in her overall development — she’s learning new things every day, communicating confidently in English, and becoming more independent, especially during mealtimes. She is also improving socially, interacting well with other children, and showing more confidence in her daily activities. There are so many positive changes I’ve noticed, and I truly appreciate the nurturing and encouraging environment the team provides. It’s been a wonderful experience for our family.
