The Farmyard

Both of my kids have been through The Farmyard and we’ve absolutely loved it. The teachers are so caring and create a welcoming environment. Now working here myself, I can see just how much heart goes into everything – it really is such a special place.

Beautiful natural play spaces outdoors, the huge trees are your canopy in the summer, not plastic fabric shade sails. The heating is from wood fires, that warm the classrooms. The teachers and support staff are radiant, welcoming, compassionate and knowledgeable. Your child is reverded. It is my pleasure and honor to be a kaiako at The Farmyard.

My wife and I decided to try to get our 2.5 year old into the Farmyard 1.5 years ago after trying to get our older children in many years before but not succeeding. Our Daughter started bang on 1 years old and she has been so happy, confident and comfortable from day one. My wife also began working there at the same time (wasn't the original plan but she felt the pull too) and they have both been very happy there, it is so nice to see both my girls walk through the door every afternoon with big smiles on their faces. Our daughter absolutely loves the animals, bread making, gardening and storytelling that they do there. I couldn't be happier with the choice to put my daughter here and reccomend it to other parents too, you won't be disappointed.
