We are incredibly grateful for the care, dedication, and passion shown by the entire team at Lumsden Kindergarten. From the moment we joined the centre, it was clear we had found somewhere truly special. The quality of education and nurturing is exceptional — it’s something you don’t just see, but genuinely feel. The culture at Lumsden is outstanding. Every team member takes the time to know children and families personally, greeting parents warmly and creating a real sense of belonging. That care extends well beyond the centre itself, reflecting how deeply invested the team is in the children, their learning, and their lives. The consistency and low staff turnover speak volumes about the positive, supportive environment they’ve built, and this stability has made a huge difference for our child. Our son has absolutely thrived here. The confidence, curiosity, values, and love of learning he has developed are a direct result of the intentional, caring teaching he has received. We feel completely reassured knowing how well prepared he is for school and are so thankful for the strong foundation Lumsden has given him. We will truly miss being part of the Lumsden community and cannot recommend this kindergarten highly enough. Families looking for exceptional care and education would be very lucky to find it.

We are so grateful to have found Lumsden Kindergarten. The teachers are incredibly nurturing and have created such a safe, welcoming space for our child. We love how they celebrate different cultures and even teach the kids sign language. It’s amazing to see our little one coming home so confident and excited to share what they’ve learned. I was very hesitatant to allow my 15month old to self soothe instead of being feed and rocked to sleep before transferring to the crib which we had done since birth. With the help and support of the nursery team at Lumsden kindergarten, allowing my daughter to learn to self soothe was one of the best decisions we have made. After 2 weeks of starting my daughter can be put down in her crib and is asleep within 5 minutes. No tears and she finally sleeps through the night! It was hard at the start of this journey but well worth it. The biggest thank you to the lovely lady's in lumsden kindergarten nursery who reassured me through out our sleep training journey.
