Havelock North Central Kindergarten

Our 4 year old transferred to HNCK when we relocated to the area, and we could not be more happy with the decision we made to continue his ECE education here. The amazing teachers are passionate, warm and enthusiastic. They create a very special environment that challenges the children to grow and learn through intentional teaching that is exciting, stimulating and most of all fun! We will be sad to farewell HNCK as we transition to school, however we are so grateful that this period of time has helped our son grow in confidence, make amazing new friends and gently prepare him for his school days ahead.

Havelock North Central Kindergarten is an absolute gem. The teachers here are incredibly experienced, caring, and truly dedicated to each child's growth and well-being. They create such a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe to play, explore, and learn at their own pace. Parents are also met with a warm welcome and communication between teachers and families is excellent. Snippets from your child’s day are often shared - from the things they were curious about or excelled at, something funny that happened, or the things that may have been a bit tricky for your child that day. Mindfulness towards others is taught daily, and the seeds of many other important life skills are planted here at Havelock North Central Kindergarten. The indoor and outdoor spaces offer a great environment for kids to thrive. I highly recommend this kindergarten to any family looking for the best start for their little ones

Both of our kids went through Havelock Central Kindy, and honestly, what beautiful humans those teachers are 💖 It’s such a fantastic learning environment that truly prepares children for Primary School while still letting them be little kids. The care, patience, encouragement, and genuine love the teachers show every day is something really special. Our children absolutely loved it there, and we will always be grateful for the memories, support, and confidence they gained during their time at Kindy. Highly recommend to any whānau looking for a nurturing and positive environment for their children.
