Our family loves Montessori 3-6 and can whole-heartedly recommend it to everyone who is curious about the Montessori method, child-led learning, and holistic approach as its early childhood learning philosophy. Montessori 3-6 is all about hands on exploration through various Montessori materials, play, and real-life skills such as gardening and baking. It’s also lovely to witness learning through teaching as the older children guide the younger in the skills they have mastered in the mixed age environment. One of our absolute favourite things about Montessori 3-6 is the multi-cultural community that it is. Children get to participate in cultural celebrations where they share and learn about different cultural holidays through immersive experiences, including art, songs, performances, and kai. The celebration and appreciation of cultures also shows in the multilingual instruction that Montessori 3-6 is known for; in addition to English, the children get to learn Te Reo Māori, Spanish, and Samoan! And the cherry on top is the teachers who are brilliant — experienced, caring, patient, and follow the Montessori philosophy. We appreciate all our years with you, Montessori 3-6!

I cannot put into words how grateful I am for Vicky and her team. They provided the perfect village for my two boys and were a home away from home. I employed the techniques they used there and it helped me as a parent. Vicky let me stay and settle the boys for as long as it took. I felt so welcome and not shuffled off and in the way (like the centre we tried before). I kept both my boys there till 6 years old - because the service and teacher to child ratio was higher than that of school . The boys had the optimum start to schooling, were confident in themselves and started at a high academic level. They continue to achieve well at school and in most cases are above average in their test scores (ages now 11 and 13).
