Educare Totara Park

We absolutely love the team at Totara Educare. The kaiako have been incredibly supportive and have played such an important role in our son's learning and development over the past four years. Their dedication, kindness, and genuine care have made such a positive impact on his early childhood journey. Every kaiako is always welcoming, friendly, and greets families with a smile, creating a warm and nurturing environment. We are so grateful we chose Totara Educare for our son. It has been an amazing experience from the very beginning, and we couldn't recommend them more highly. 😊

We visited so many daycares and kindergartens around Whangārei, and our son just didn’t connect with any of them. The moment we walked into Tōtara Educare, the difference was obvious. The staff were genuinely welcoming, and that wairua was felt straight away. On his very first visit, our son didn’t cling to me like he had at every other place — he was off exploring, comfortable, and happy. That alone spoke volumes. When we began transitioning him into full‑time care, the kaimahi were absolutely amazing. They were comforting, attentive, and so warm with him, which made it so much easier for us to leave him each day knowing he was surrounded by people who truly cared. Something that meant a lot to us as a busy whānau was how understanding and accommodating they were when I struggled to pick him up on time due to work commitments. Without any hesitation, they allowed us to extend his hours, even without notice. That level of support is rare, and we are so grateful. Our boy absolutely loves this place, and as a whānau of five, it brings us so much peace knowing our pēpi is somewhere he is cared for, valued, and happy. Tōtara Educare has a beautiful wairua, and we couldn’t recommend them more.

Amazing team and vibe :) Every step of the way has been supported, positive and fun bringing my bubba here. The team are so awesome, making you feel apart of the whanau from Day 1. The centre is beautiful, with so much space and activities to learn and grow. My bubba has learnt so much and is so happy, thankyou team 💓
