We have been blown away by the 'above and beyond' at WanaExcel. The opportunities available to our 4-year-old are exceptional, and the teaching staff are incredibly caring. Thanks to their swim programme, we will reach summer with a safe swimmer. Delighted.

The letter below, which I gave them when my daughter moved to the B4 school, says it all. ♥️ “ Dear Teachers and Founders, I’m writing this with so much love and gratitude, I honestly don’t know where to begin. We came to Wānaka two years ago, hoping to start a new life and build a better future for our daughter, Liyana. Leaving everything we had in Sri Lanka was not easy, but we made that incredibly hard decision because of her. The beginning was especially challenging, no family, no friends, and thousands of miles away from home. We both needed to work, and one of the most important things was to find a good daycare for Liyana. I remember feeling a bit frustrated during that search, and then I finally found WanaExcel. Trust me, you changed everything. You made my life better and so much easier. Liyana cried only for two days, and on the third day, she smiled and said goodbye happily. Now, she even wakes up on weekends asking me to take her to the daycare. To me, what you offer is more than a service, it’s something beyond that. Almost every time I come to pick her up, I see a teacher holding a baby lovingly on their lap. It’s adorable and deeply reassuring. You truly care about how these little ones feel, and that means the world to a parent. I’ve always been amazed by how well organized, neat, and beautifully maintained the whole centre is. Everything is so well thought out, from the learning areas and displays to the way you plan activities and communicate with families. It shows the love and effort you put into making the environment safe, joyful, and inspiring. That kind of care doesn’t go unnoticed. You treat each child with kindness and respect, and your calm, gentle way of handling everything is something very special. Every term, the things her teachers write about her progress make me so happy and proud. No matter where life takes me or how much time passes, as a mother, I will always have a very special place in my heart for WanaExcel. I thoroughly recommend WanaExcel. We have been lucky to have two of our children go through the centre so far and have only ever been hugely impressed. Amazing and caring teachers that really make the effort in creating a welcoming and supportive environment, where they can learn, have fun and grow. Our children formed really strong bonds as a result. It is an extremely well run centre and the additional activities they offer (swimming, dance, horseriding, adventure walks...) to maximise the development of your children is brilliant too.
