We couldn't be happier with this childcare centre. The teachers are caring, supportive, and genuinely invested in the children's wellbeing and development. Our daughter has grown in confidence, learned so much, and always comes home happy and excited to share her day. The staff create a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment, and communication with families is excellent. We are incredibly grateful for the love, patience, and dedication they show every day. We highly recommend this centre to any family looking for high-quality childcare.

We have had our son enrolled in best start elles road since he was 6 months old! He’s now ready for school this year, how time flies when you’re having fun! The team have done an excellent job with him throughout the years, they are kind, caring, and always listen to your needs and concerns. Grateful for them! 💜

Our daughter started here at 3, fresh from overseas, and left at 5 with nothing but happy memories (and a slightly stronger Kiwi accent than ours 😅). From day one, the team made her feel like she belonged. They don’t just “mind” the kids — they genuinely grow them. They teach respect, discipline, confidence, creativity, exploring the world… and unity. Big on unity. It’s very much “joy for one is joy for all” — and yes, sometimes “flu for one is flu for all” too 🤧 but that’s just the authentic early-childhood experience, right? The kaiako are absolute legends. Warm, approachable, easy to yarn with, and always up for a proper chat — not just about your child, but about how you’re doing as a family too. They support the whole whānau, not just the little humans. You never feel like “just another parent at pick-up time.” There’s a reason half of the hospital staff seem to bring their kids here — when the healthcare pros trust a place with their own children, that says a lot! And just to be clear — this is not a paid review. No free coffees, no discount on fees, not even a bonus box of wet wipes. Just two grateful parents who hit the kindi jackpot and aren’t gatekeeping it. Hands down, one of the best places for kids growing up. If you want your child to learn confidence, kindness, and how to lead the conga line at mat time, this is the spot. Absolute Gem ❤️
