My daughter goes to kohanga reo at Whakaahurangi marae. Herewini Nopera is the caretaker of the marae and Head teacher. He is an absolute credit to this marae and to our area. If you have free time, take part in his evening te reo maori lessons, which are available to anyone from beginners to more advanced speakers.
