Jumpstart Nursery

We have only just recently joined the Jumpstart Wallath Road daycare whānau after relocating from Wellington - and we have been blown away by the care and support from the team at Jumpstart. It’s our 20 month olds first daycare experience and the manaaki he and we have been shown through the settling period has made the process has been first class. The kaiako have all been so welcoming and beautifully kind, his key teacher Lucy is a bit of a miracle worker! And Di has made us feel at home from our first step in the door. Cannot recommend this centre highly enough - we are raving to our Wellington friends about the experience compared to what we know is common place down there! We can’t wait to see Eddie continue to learn and grow thanks to the team at Jumpstart. Aroha nui.

My son joined Jumpstart three months ago, and from day one the team have been absolutely amazing. He was refusing a bottle when he started, and the teachers were so patient, supportive, and determined to help him settle in. Their care and encouragement made what felt like a stressful transition so much easier. What has stood out the most is the genuine care they show not only to the children, but to their families as well. During a period of significant changes in our family dynamic, the team went above and beyond to support us. The teachers are always so lovely at drop-off and pick-up, taking the time to tell me about his day, what he has been exploring, and the little milestones he has achieved. My son absolutely adores going to kindy. There are no tears at drop-off, and he has built wonderful relationships with all of his kaiako.
