Thank you for your response to Sandeep and Pawan However, I do not agree with how this situation has been framed. Regardless of how the lollipop was accessed or who entered the staff area, the main concern remains unchanged — the way my 3-year-old child was treated. At such a young age, children need to be guided with care, patience, and understanding. Instead, the situation was handled in a way that caused him clear emotional distress, without any effort to comfort or support him afterwards. That is what I found most upsetting as a parent. It is also very disappointing that instead of taking responsibility, the response appears to justify and protect the staff member involved. There has been no apology from either the centre or the teacher, which is quite concerning. I also find it inappropriate that the situation is now being shifted towards my older child, rather than acknowledging how poorly it was handled by the staff. That is not acceptable. While I acknowledge that you followed up afterwards, it does not change the experience my child went through at that moment. Emotional wellbeing should always come first, especially in early childhood settings. I also want to reiterate that my concern about feeling unwelcome and experiencing bias has not been addressed in your response. I hope the centre genuinely reflects on this and ensures that all children are treated with empathy, respect, and kindness in the future.

I am so happy with the care my children have received here!
