Such a lovely environment for children to spend their preschool years. Will be very sad to leave as my daughter goes off to school next term but thankful that the kaiako have helped to foster independence and confidence to take on a new learning journey. The teachers are the heart and soul of this kindergarten and very much appreciated by the children and their whanau ❤

We have had the privilege of sending our two children to this wonderful kindergarten that has created a truly nurturing environment. The teachers are kind, caring, and incredibly supportive, creating a calm and safe space where every child feels valued. We love the strong embrace of all cultures, along with the focus on messy play, creativity, and hands-on learning. If your child loves the outdoors they will love the nature discovery programme. It’s a beautiful place where children are free to explore and thrive.

Just the best early childhood learning experience. We have been to a few daycares and kindergartens and Tuakau Kindergarten is a rare hidden gem. Apart from the Nature Discovery programme, the kindergarten itself has great outdoors areas, the teachers are always setting up super engaging activities like making recycled paper, sewing, making a playhouse and the list goes on. Always a cool display of live tadpoles or caterpillars to learn about metamorphosis or even recently eggs incubating to chicks! What makes this place even more special though are the teachers. They have a great culture and it really trickles down to how the children are cared for. The energy is always calm and peaceful. We feel very lucky that our kids get to experience this. My son who is now school age still gets excited to come for a visit. I personally also find it hard to leave in the at drop offs 🤣
