Shine Montessori Educare Avalon

Our child has been with Shine Montessori Avalon for the past year, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care, attention, and love he’s received during this time. From the moment we enrolled, we were impressed by the warmth and friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the environment, and the clear focus on the Montessori curriculum. The team genuinely goes the extra mile to create a nurturing, family-friendly, and reliable space where children can thrive. One of the things we’ve appreciated most is how Shine Montessori has helped our child grow in confidence and happiness. Since joining, we’ve noticed such a positive change in him — he’s truly blossomed. He’s been generally very healthy throughout the year, which we believe is a testament to the high standards of care and hygiene maintained at the center. A special thank you to Melanie, who manages the center with such grace, understanding, and open communication. We’d also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Head Teacher caren, Makasini, Kirsty, Minakshi, Hannah and rest of the staff at Avalon — your dedication and kindness have made such a difference in our child’s journey. Our child also spent a short time at the Waiwhetu center and we were equally impressed by Head Teacher Tama, Nichole and Shalene who were incredibly helpful and caring. We wholeheartedly recommend Shine Montessori and their team to any parent looking for a place where their child will be loved, supported, and encouraged to grow. It’s truly a place where children are understood and nurtured.

Shine provides a nurturing environment for little ones. Our children attended both centres and were always happy to go to school and enjoyed it. They thrived in the enriching space provided for them and being introduced to montessori early on. Our daughter has been going here for 5 weeks now and we have had nothing but amazing interactions with the teachers here. Our girl has been happier than I have ever seen her after finishing her days now, and she is learning significantly faster than I ever thought possible. I am so happy we chose Shine for our daycare centre and are very happy with the care 😊
