Backyard Kids Limited

Our son has been at Backyard Kids since it opened, and has transitioned through all 3 rooms. He has become part of the whanau and BYK is his second home. At every stage his teachers have been amazing - he is nurtured, supported and he has learned SO much. He has developed strong relationships with the teachers and made such good friends, when we pick him up he is never ready to leave! The activities set up by the kaiako are so creative and thoughtful, developing age appropriate skills and providing lots of fun. Having healthy food provided is one less thing we have to think about. We highly recommend Backyard Kids!

From the moment we visited Backyard kids we felt so welcomed. All of the teachers were so friendly and you could tell they really cared. Our daughter settled easily and within 2 weeks was asking to go on days when she wasn't scheduled to go. It's so nice to know that your littles ones are happy and being so well cared for.

We’ve had a great experience with Backyard kids. The Manuka room is such an amazingly supportive, safe space. It really does feel like an extension of your village. The support for us as parents, as well as the care taken with our son’s education has been greatly appreciated. Looking forward to the next journey in the bigger kids room!
