Reggio Bambini Private Preschool & Infant Centre

After 7 years with two tamariki at Reggio Bambini, I can’t recommend this daycare highly enough. The communication has always been excellent, and the level of care impressed me throughout. When tricky situations came up between children, the staff handled them thoughtfully and respectfully - never rushed, always considered and tailored to the children. A few other things stood out over the years: staff retention has been consistently strong, which says a lot about how the centre is run and meant real continuity of care for my kids. The staff-to-child ratio has also always been better than required, which made a real difference for the kids’ sense of attention and safety. Seven years is a long time to trust a centre with your children, and I’d do it again without hesitation. I really appreciate the care and aroha the entire team put into building a great relationship with our whānau.

We’ve had a really positive experience with Reggio Bambini over the past few years. Our son attended from around 9 months old through to starting school at 5, so we’ve seen the centre across all stages of early childhood. The teachers have always been caring, supportive, and genuinely invested in the children. They built strong relationships with Ryan and helped him grow not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. It’s clear they take the time to understand each child as an individual. We’ve seen Ryan develop confidence, independence, and curiosity during his time there, which has made the transition to school much smoother. Communication with staff has been good, and we’ve always felt comfortable raising any questions or concerns. Overall we’ve felt that Ryan was in a safe, nurturing environment and well looked after. We’re grateful for the role the centre has played in his early years.

Wouldn’t even give this daycare 1 star the worst daycare for mixed cultured kids! My daughter who is half Māori / Indian went there about over a year ago for a little while and the teachers were all fake and rude and spoke rudely to the children the owners daughter had a son that went there which was the owners grandson who got to bully other kids and get away with it because he was the grandson! I caught some of the teachers talking to kids so horribly this is people who you don’t want taking care of your children while your not there, they do not love what they do they do it only because it’s a job that pays. Absolutely disgusting they are kind to white kids but other cultured kids get treated very differently. Horrible teacher Amy and an old lady there especially those 2. DO NOT choose this daycare for your child if you truely care for them!!
