This is an excellent daycare - my wife visited every daycare in the area and created a spreadsheet of everything that was important to us - and the winner by far was Pipitea. After having a child here for sometime I am still amazed by how loving, nurturing and educational it is - it is our sons home-away-from-home. The very low ratio of children to teachers makes a huge difference. It is lovely to see our son excited to go each morning and to know he is learning, eating well and growing each day with the same values we instill at home.

Our daughter goes to Pipitea and absolutely loves it. It's a lovely close-knit centre and all of the teachers care so much for the children. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff - they are so enthusiastic and supportive of every child there. Because of the parent-teacher cooperative model, all the families feel really involved in the running of the centre. Our daughter gets lots of opportunities to do all sorts of activities there (much more than we'd be able to do at home with her). The settling process was really well done, and we were welcome to take our daughter down for extra drop ins which made it so smooth when she started. She's moved into the over 2 year old room and the transition process was communicated to us well and done at her own pace. And all round great daycare!

We are really thrilled we ended up at Pipitea. Our son is well cared for, his development supported and the teachers are really engaged. We particularly like the teacher ratio (1:3), sugar free healthy menu, play themes varied each day and the regular communication.
