Glendowie Christian Kindergarten

If I could give GCK more than 5 stars in this review, I'd be giving infinitely more. We have had our 2 precious kids go through GCK and I was not prepared for the level of kindness, love, caring and interest the incredible staff at GCK show for our children. It has been next level, and there is nothing more reassuring in the morning at drop off to know the incredibly caring hands that your most precious ones are being left in. Furthermore, the kind of community that is fostered by GCK is just a joy to be a part of. The place attracts wonderful families, we have made lots of great friends, and the regular whanau events such as Mothers Day gathers the community and creates even more cohesion and connection between families. I can not recommend GCK highly enough. If you want the best start for your kids at kindy, before they start school, you've found it.

We’ve been part of the GCK family for over four years now, our daughter was there for two and a half years before starting school, and our son is coming up on two years there. Safe to say, we love this place! From day one, the care and warmth shown by the teachers has been outstanding. They really know our kids, their personalities, their interests, which makes such a difference to their confidence and sense of security. A huge part of that comes down to the low staff turnover, which makes such a difference. These aren’t just teachers passing through, they are familiar, trusted faces our children have grown up with. The range of activities is amazing. The outdoor area is fantastic, spacious, well thought out, and clearly a place where imaginations run wild. If you’re looking for a kindy that will truly look after your child and make learning feel like the best kind of adventure, we can’t recommend GCK enough. It’s been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our family.

After our first visit to GCK, we knew it was the right fit for our daughter and family. Two and a half years later, we are incredibly grateful to the dedicated teaching staff for bringing out the best in her and for preparing her so well for school. Being part of the GCK community and participating in the various events throughout the year was also a highlight for us. Simply put, we loved everything about GCK and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a kindy in the area.
