The Treasure Cove ELC - Tawa

Like any parent, I was anxious about finding a daycare that felt right for my daughter and our family but from the moment I walked into the centre, I could feel and sense the love and immense care that is poured into what feels less like a daycare and more like a home. My daughter has been at Treasure Cove Tawa since before she was 1 and is due to turn 5 this year. Daena and her team have supported us immensely over the years and been a pillar in my girl’s learning and development. My daughter has grown leaps and bounds during her time at TC Tawa, has had a variety of learning experiences because of their commitment to learning through play and the way they foster the essence and strengths of my girl. She has flourished because of the time and love that has been sown into her! The team are incredible and work tirelessly to give the kids every opportunity to learn and have fun. I couldn’t recommend TC Tawa more than I already do!! We are so grateful to be a part of the TC Tawa family ❤️

Treasure Cove has been nothing but a second home to my son. He started here at 1 years old and as a first time mother this was something I was struggling to push forward. We searched and visited many centres in Manurewa and fell in love with Treasure Cove instantly. The warm cosy homely feeling we got as we entered and the warm welcomes from the teachers were amazing. Finding out that they called the lovely staff " Aunties " made it more like home. My son has been there since he was 5 and have had nothing but the best experience, the communication with the Aunties & centre Manager Aunty Daena have been top notch. My son has had difficulties with behavioural issues with getting frustrated and not being able to communicate his feelings as he was growing. This was something huge for us to try and navigate as he was hurting himself along the way. Treasure Cove Aunties guided us as first time parents and helped us find strategies to help son calm down and other ways to understand him, with this Daena ( centre manager ) helped us get more help from ministry of education. This is definitely something I wouldn't have done on our own but with the guidance, patience, love and support this centre helped my son thrive and helped him be the best version of himself. I am truly grateful for these Aunties, all the effort, love & support really shows throughout our years there. This is truly a family centre where they take the best care for your child❤️

Treasure Cove Tawa truly felt like a second home for our girl. The dedicated teachers go above and beyond, treating each child with the utmost care and compassion as if they were their own. You can feel the warmth and homely atmosphere at Treasure Cove when you walk in alongside the love and support from the teachers creating a nurturing environment where kids can thrive. I felt completely at ease knowing my little one was in such trustworthy hands. I highly recommend Treasure Cove Tawa to any parent looking for a safe and loving daycare experience for their children.
