HQP is everything you could want from an ECE centre - any parent should feel very confident enrolling their child here We have been at HQP for 4 years and during that tenure our child has flourished. She is confident, social, and developed excellent communication skills. She also has fun at HQP, she loves going there, being surrounded with wonderful friends and excellent teachers. My daughter has learnt to read, write, basic math, built social confidence and has unmatched curiosity. HQP embraces diversity and enjoys celebrating/teaching as many significant events as possible e.g. colour run for Diwali, chocolate gold coins for Lunar New Year, Kiwiana for Waitangi Day ….. The centre also offers externally taught programmes such as Playball, Dance and Music which has been incredibly enriching. The learning focus each term creates an evolving challenge for the kids; and they are always so excited to show off what they have learnt at end of term celebration evenings. Would highly recommend Halswell Quarry. My baby (9 months) has been there for 3 months. They have been attentive and caring as we transitioned to the preschool. My baby has connected well with all the teachers in the nursery. At pick-up they talk to you about how your child has gone for the day, they provide food, they remember things you are concerned about, and they very clearly care about all the children in their care. Their administration is impeccable. Storypark posts every day, completed daily journals of the your child's day, quick updates by email if there are concerns, and thorough monthly updates on your child's progress.
