Ilam Early Learning Centre

Our youngest started school two years ago after four years at Ilam ELC. We look back fondly on his time there and he still points it out postively when we go past. He arrived at school ready to learn and with the social and emotional skills needed to thrive. Ilam was his home away from home and he resettled well every time had had a few weeks off. The low turnover of staff mean that there was consistency of care and they still ask after him if we run into them out and about. The outdoor spaces are large enough for kids to properly run around, and the graduation from babies to toddlers to "big kids" was well so well managed he never stressed about the change. He particularly enjoyed the small outings around the Dovedale campus with the other "big kids"

We started at Ilam ELC just over a month ago and are very happy with our choice. All the teachers are lovely, caring and positive. We had a lot of support with the settlement stage and feel welcome there everyday. It is a multi cultural respectful environment that suits out family values. The biggest highlight for us when we first visited was the large and varied outside area with natural shade. We also love the routines, and the thoughtfulness that is put into changing the inside and outside environmens. I can highly recommend this centre to other parents.

My daughter has been in this centre for nearly 5 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else! All the teachers in the centre are so passionate, loving, kind and professional. The environment and atmosphere they create for children and their families are above and beyond. With the support, care and guidance from everyone (admin staff, centre manager and teachers), my child has grown into a confident, kind, and happy girl ready for primary school! Highly recommended!!!
