Annabel's Educare - Somerfield

Annabel’s Somerfield is the BEST! I chose them because the teachers at Rosy Cheeks (which doesn’t have a nursery class themselves) recommended this establishment telling me some of their own teachers send their kids here. I don’t know anything about early childhood development but I figured if professionals who specialize in a similar age group send their own children here, it must be good. The teachers in the nursery are the best co-parents we could ask for! Nurturing, warm, kind, loving. The babies get snuggles and they adapt to what your child needs on any given day. If my daughter looks tired they’ll put her down for two naps instead of just one. They were concerned about her when she wasn’t eating well and worked with us to address that. She gets all sorts of learning experiences & socialization she wouldn’t get at home. It’s made her more confident in new environments and with our friends kids. And the leadership team goes above and beyond to support families. Being an expat family without extended family in NZ is difficult and we could not do it without this AMAZING team. 💛

Annabel's Educare in Somerfield is a wonderful environment for my 2 children to learn, play and be loved. The teachers take such great care of all the children, and create a real sense of belonging for everyone. They are also very professional in their approach to caring for our children, ensuring that they are informed of what is happening in our little ones lives, on a day to day basis. The staff also help keep us as parents at ease when all of the weird and wonderful changes are occurring in our children. All of the staff are approachable, and they make our experience as a family at Annabel's Somerfield, truly awesome.

I only have good things to say about Annabel’s - we absolutely love it! Our daughter started in the nursery, then the pre-k & is currently in the kindy, and truly thrives there. The teachers are outstanding- so caring, fun & organised, and have been so amazing helping my daughter transition to each room. There are so many fun activities - singing, dancing, arts, crafts, outdoor fun + more. My son has just started in the nursery & I am excited for him to be starting his Annabel’s journey.
