Our family has had two children attend The Secret Garden, and we couldn’t speak more highly of the experience. Our daughter was a former student, and now our 4-year-old attends, so we’ve seen firsthand how consistently wonderful the centre is over the years. One of the first things you notice is how immaculate the centre is. It’s always clean, welcoming, and somehow always smells amazing. The teachers place a strong emphasis on hygiene too, with children routinely washing their hands before meals and learning good habits from an early age. The outdoor environment is something really special. The children are encouraged to be children – exploring, climbing, discovering and getting involved in real adventures. From the animals and fruit trees to the constantly changing activities, there’s always something new and exciting happening. The summer water play is absolutely next level and a highlight every year. The teachers are incredible. They genuinely care about each child and take the time to build meaningful relationships with them. They go above and beyond to understand your child’s personality, interests and needs, creating a nurturing environment where they can thrive. We also love the focus on school readiness. Once children turn four, they begin learning skills that prepare them for school in thoughtful and practical ways. It’s not just about letters and numbers – they teach the routines, independence and social skills that help make the transition to school a positive one. Another thing that sets The Secret Garden apart is its size and structure. We love that there is no division between age groups. The teachers who welcome your child on their first day are the same teachers supporting them right through until they leave. There’s a reason why the staff turnover is low! Our two children couldn’t be more different from each other, yet The Secret Garden has suited both of them – and us as parents – beautifully. There is plenty of competition in the area, but what you won’t find elsewhere is the heart of this place. The genuine care, community and values are what matter most to our family, and that’s what makes The Secret Garden so special.

We were so excited when our daughter turned two so she could join the Secret Garden family. My daughter tends to be on the shyer side and the Secret Garden were fantastic with her. She had no problem settling in and all of the teachers were amazing at building her confidence and making her feel comfortable. We have so many preschools in the area which all feel the same. As soon as you walk through the Secret Garden gate you instantly feel at home. They have a huge backyard with everything a kid could dream to play with and explore. The teachers are all so kind and warm, you feel confident leaving your child, knowing that they are in great hands and you receive regular updates which is great. We highly recommend 🤩

I first came to The secret garden 5 years ago. I was new to the area, looking for a preschool for my oldest son. I was very impressed wright away, as I walked through the front gate into the amazing backyard. I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff, instantly I felt at home. I am a strong believer in going with how you feel when you walk into a place. Being a first time mum looking for childcare for the first time was very scary for me. The owner and staff made me feel so welcome and at ease. Now 5 years on all three of my children have gone to The secret garden and my youngest in his last year there now. My two oldest have moved onto school and grown into the most independent, confident children. I put this down to a great start which this special place helped mould them. I will be very sad on my baby’s last day as the community has become like family. I have made some wonderful friends here. I couldn’t recommend The secret garden more. Go and check it out, you won’t be disappointed.
